Main responsibility of DA moderators is to go through the submissions in the inbox and decide which ones you’re going to publish and which one’s you’re going to reject. There are usually hundreds of submissions in the inbox, so if you don’t have time to publish posts you can also clean up the inbox by getting rid of the obviously low quality submissions.
- Submissions must be in a civilized tone, and address the questions.
- While moderating, please stay neutral and open to publishing posts you disagree with.
- Please never remove published questions, which is to prevent all responders from receiving a “your post has been hidden a moderator” notification
- Please remove published answers only when they are really unacceptable.
- Should daily posts exceed 400, instead of publishing new submissions please queue them.

Recommended Task Order
- Queuing all submissions that are less than three lines instead of publishing.
- Process partially displayed submissions first- they typically have a (more) link.
- Process the remaining submissions.
Secondarily, based on their severity, the DA moderators block or warn the users who break rules in their submissions. Here are some examples for the posts that should be rejected [🟨] and the posts whose owners should be blocked after rejection [🟥].
🟥 You are an idiot.
🟥 All Muslims/Christians/atheists are stupid.
🟨 Go read a book / check in the dictionary.
🟨 WTF are you talking about?
🟥 What the fuck is that?
🟥 I’ve read your fairy tales.
🟥 Go ask your sky daddy
🟨 Which god? There are so many.
🟨 Theists are delusional fools.
The above are examples, essentially DA moderators use their own initiative to decide what the severity of a broken rule is and act upon it.
Lastly the DA moderators typically go through the user reported posts in the quality section to see if any of them should be really removed because it doesn’t answer the question, is a silly joke, or rude.
Important: In the quality queue, questions never and posts are rarely marked low quality. Most reported posts in the queue are complaints from religious people who don’t like them..
Summary of Dos and Don’ts
- Please make necessary grammar and spelling corrections on the parent questions, which will cascade to their child questions.
- Please publish questions that may be loaded and contain misinformation as long as the misinformation is common among at least some people. The intent of the question owners is irrelevant.
- Where necessary please send new posts from a user to spam rather than blocking them unless the user vandalizes the comment sections of questions.
- Please refrain from removing already published questions or marking them low quality in the quality queue.
- When the number of daily posts exceed 400, instead of publishing new posts, please queue them.

I don’t understand the last phrase of the first paragraph.
I’ve rewritten the paragraph. Is it more clear now?
